Join me and my fellow AO Design Teammies as we showcase images from our Verses & Greetings line of stamps for you!!

(Lisa and Kate are sitting this one out, but you can always go by their blogs to see what they’ve been up to-)  🙂

After hopping, how about some shopping?  All stamp sets in the Verses & Greetings category at the Artistic Outpost online store are ON SALE for 20% off now through Saturday, August 8, 2015.  No code is needed to shop this sale, the sale price will be reflected in the shopping cart (retail purchases only).

I’m using our Typography set–

–along with Generation Redux to create my card today.

This card was really easy to make, as I already had the background panel ready to go and I knew which AO images I was going to use.

I’m using another piece of this master board I made last week.

DSC07824

I had to show you a close-up of what this background looks like, before I start covering it up.  I just love how pressing the stencil around on the gelli plate transfers the different paint colors about!

DSC07826

This demure young woman is in the Generation Redux set (and another one of my fav AO images) and I stamped her onto my panel with Jet Black Archival and heat set, then I roughed up the edges with my paper distresser.

DSC07830

I added lines & circles of paint with an old gift card and a paint cap.  I’m using DAM Fluid Acrylics in Carbon Black & Translucent White and PA Chalk Fresco Acrylic in Banana.

I stamped this image again onto mixed-media paper with Jet Black Archival and water colored with my Distress Markers and water brush.  I fussy cut her out and added Diamond Glaze to her glasses.

DSC07917

I mounted her onto the panel with matte Decou-Page and outlined her with Black Soot DI and my water brush.  I added a second outline with my white gel pen and anchored her with some messy machine stitching.

This is one of the quotes found in the Typography set, a set filled with fantastic verses!  I stamped it onto tissue paper with Jet Black Archival and carefully fussy cut with my finger knife.  I adhered the pieces of stamped tissue paper to the panel with matte Decou-Page and let air dry.  Once it was dry, I outlined them with the fine tip of my Black Soot DM and my white gel pen.

I inked the edges with Black Soot DI and my ink blending tool and attached to a dark purple card base.  Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy!!

Thanks so much for coming back today and hopping along in our August Product Focus feature!  If you’re hopping in order Terry is next, but if you like to hop in no particular order, here’s the line-up again–

I’ll be quiet here this week as my Mom-in-Law is in town visiting for a few days, but I’ll be back on Sunday for my regular weekly posting for Artistic Outpost 🙂
